When Skolas was within the Vex networks, he saw Oryx's coming. He mumbled of this Light-Snuffer, Dark-Binder when captured by the Queen. The Nine knew he would do this, so they sent one of their Agents to free him

Edited by Qwerty: 11/7/2015 4:56:29 AMWhat was the primary source on Skolas being a warning (and going into the network)? I've always seen him as a step in the pattern more than a warning. Also, he wanted to see into the network for the gift of prophecy- but he never fulfilled that plan due to Awoken and Guardian interference.

The Nine freed him, gave him a Ketch and resources. Later, in the Queen's custody, he spoke of Oryx. He had some interaction with the networks. Petra detects a faint Vex signature in the first mission, and Skolas pulls the Wolves through time in the last mission

Edited by Qwerty: 11/7/2015 3:20:04 PMI understood the gaining Skolas powers to him controlling the Oracles. I did not see him as a messenger so much as a step in the pattern. The messenger is Oryx, borne on black wings. Also, while reading the Queen Gambit, I realized she directly says to send a message to Osiris and Eris after Skolas sends his message. That pretty much end all confirms the Queen 2 as Eris and Osiris- which in turns confirms Mara as the "Queen"
