Great post, never occurred to me that the heart was his worm. I realize there is a slight leap of faith in that idea but your logic behind it looks solid at first glance.
One thing I would like to know is what exactly happened to Quria?

Quria, Blade Transform was given to Savathûn as gift from Oryx.

But it is still around? I like the idea of going up against Quria, or going up against a Vex mind that followed the worship path. do you think the Vex that you find in the garden at the end of the original campaign a sect of the worshipping vex?

I think that all Vex in our current Timeline are Vex which worship. Of course, it's a bit late where I'm at, so I'll look into it more in the morning.
