there aren't infused with light so wouldn't even be able to damage beings of darkness like the raid bosses

Yeah a LOT of people here are not understanding the context. Wouldn't be able to hurt Oryx and Atheon would just time slap Goku. Who's going to pull him out of a timeloop? He's not doing that on his own.. he can teleport anywhere he wants to go but not time travel.

the only reason we escaped atheons time loop is predeaths relic which can only be wielded by beings of light
