2 Replies1k stare only has 56 Aim Assist. That's about middle ground. A lot of other popular snipers have way more, 1k is just the most common right now, because it's free from a quest and drops a lot, For me anyway, but I doubt I'm the only person who gets like one a week at least. It's a lot more common than faction or other legendarys' so everyone uses it.

Nearly every weapon in this game is in a specific impact & fire rate category 1000 yard is in the same one as ldr, stillpeircer, eirene rr4, etc. They all also have similar aa & handling except for eirene with a much lower aa stat. It's a solid weapon that's pretty much average in everything but due to it being widely available to all classes from a quest early on in ttk, it's constantly said to be "op" or "easy mode". It's sad so many play this game but few understand how things actually work in it.

Snipers with low aim assist are what you really have to worry about. Less drag scope so that whole "revive teammate and run past to drag the scope" is far less effective

Theres other snipers with higher aim assist and hidden hand doesnt do [i]that[/i] much to snipers, if you knew anything about PvP and sniper you would know this. Also i thought id add that you suck at PvP and you're using a sniper which is basically a scout rifle. My suggestion is stop being shit and get a sniper which has decent impact along with a slow fire rate.. high fire rate sniper are for scrubs who need more then 1 shot.

Op sucks at crucible 1000 yard stare has less aim assist than just about every y2 sniper and y2 snipers have less aim assist than y1

Scrubs just need something to complain about since show guns got slightly nerfed, but the cold hard facts is that this gun is not even close to broken it's just how people use snipers
