Alternatively, it could be used to boost an item's Light value. Infuse it, and the item gets the following bonus:
LIGHT - - - BONUS
000-275 - Boosts to 280
276-289 - +5 Light
290-294 - +4 Light
295-299 - +3 Light
300-304 - +2 Light
305-309 - +1 Light
310-??? - No Bonus
Maybe it could even work with Prison of Elders gear, too. We need to make PoE relevant again.
