To be fair they can be both, they either reproduce on their own or find a partner. See calcified fragments for more info. But I agree, tried calling them Wizards but I gave in to peer pressure.

Yea, but what I'm trying to say is since people hear female (her, she, etc...) they immediately assume witch. They don't think about it anymore.
