Technically it's still all rng. The drops are rng and the engrams are rng. I've had about 8 exotics for a warlock even though I was playing as my hunter. Only 1 was 310 and I'm 306.

Better than relying on Xur and drops. 3oC increases drop rates, so I'm happy.

I did get 310 immolation fists for my Titan after beating oryx, from the chest, which was nice. I do agree that it's nice to have that extra chance for exotics but if I keep getting low light duplicates, for other classes, it diminishes my motivation to use them.

it won't drop 310 for your other classes because they aren't 300+

I beg to differ. I got 310 claws for my warlock with my hunter. Which I infused with my own gauntlets. I know it's possible tho. All I ever seem to get are helmet and gauntlets. Would be nice to have a weapon for once. I don't care if it's a duplicate either, I just want it to be 310.
