I don't believe it's good for anyone to get addicted to anything. Still marijuana gets the user high and therefore they are basically intoxicated for the next few hours. It's not really good to do that to anyone. Alcohol doesn't immediately do that to the same degree as marijuana I've seen many articles and research showing that the drug high of marijuana is addictive.
