I'm sure they will give us what "they" want except it will be close to the launch of the new game. If that's the case I won't even bother with wasting my time in that case. Just like I stopped playing shortly after HoW. Why grind for countless hours for everything to become useless. The fact we have less exotics now kind of speaks for itself as well.
I have and had such high expectations for this game. While they do listen to the community on a narrow range of topics they need to do more for the day one players to keep us around.
They need to take more advice from people that want what is best for the game. Some of us have been playing video games longer than Bungie has been a company has been around or longer than the lives of half of the player base. I am absolutely certain that most of what some us have asked for would improve the game and in the end increase profits. There are over a dozen "grindy mmos", I don't think that's the way for this game to go.
The Grind Driven ones are all outdated too. People stopped caring about those kinds of cookie cutter MMOs that are all re-skinned versions of each other. Games like Guild Wars were the final nail in the coffin for monthly subscription fees, which was the beginning of the end for things like WoW.
The only people who stick with World of Warcraft are the truly addicted. Same is true for Destiny. Meanwhile, other games like TERA and Mabinogi seek to innovate and offer all new experiences for Gamers to enjoy.
Innovation wins. Always.
