That would make GG have to much of an advantage due to its range and the lack of bullet velocity drop. I think getting a GG headshot should be a one shot kill but a body shot should not. I think that would be fair.
Yes but blade dancers aren't a class based on damage resistance like Titans are. Blade dancers are based on speed and stealth. If you're playing it right you can sneak up behind a GG and kill him/her before they even know where you are.
That's ridiculous. Golden Gun Hunters are supposed to be a class based on range and precision while the Titans are based on CQC and damage resistance. With my idea Titans have the advantage up close but can't hit Hunters at range. Hunters if accurate can one shot a Titan at any range, but it not accurate requires two bullets.
Funny because they can only one shot if using over the horizon. The damage drop off will require you to shoot them at least twice. Also the best range for golden gun is medium to close because it is easy to hit your shots and you will one shot your targets
We're talking about what we would change to make the classes balanced, not what's in the game right now. My idea is to lower GG's body damage and significantly raise its precision damage. If you can't hit precision shots as a Hunter that's not a problem with the game.
I've leveled a hunter to 34 and maxed both classes. If you don't believe me check my grimoire. I had one of each class and didn't like my character creation choices so I deleted the hunter and warlock but couldn't bring myself to delete the character I made in beta.
Regardless, I like the gameplay of the Titan more than the other classes but I definitely do not want them to be OP. I played Titan in crucible for the majority of year one and never complained. If I was in charge of crucible balance I would:
Hammer of Sol:
Lower the amount of hammers thrown to 3-4
Lower the amount of hammers thrown with the extra hammers perk to 4-5
Reduce the hammers' long range effectiveness
Golden Gun:
Lower base GG damage in crucible
Significantly raise GG precision damage across all modes
No damage drop off with over the horizon perk
I think that is very fair and balance, each class plays to their strengths and weaknesses. If you think I'm favoring Titans I would ask you to reevaluate. I personally prefer striker to sunbreaker in crucible anyways.
EDIT: Oh and maybe you forgot, the topic is asking Titan mains their opinions so IDK what you were expecting.
