I know. But studying the brain for medical reasons is different than for scientific or social reasons.

Medical and science go hand in hand, especially with something such as marijuana and its effects on the brain

Of course. I meant scientific as in branches of science other than medical. I wasn't inquiring about the effects of marijuana but medical would definitely cover that area.
