What evidence do we have that ahamkara are not extinct?

The one I can think of is the worms. I think that it's actually wyrms because the worms are desribed to have long wings and tails in the books of sorrow. And aruax only killed akka so I belive each of the other worms(ahamkara) are alive.

That's another, however there's a grimore card called the great ahamkara hunt. At the end it says "so all the ahamkara were extinct, believe this oh reader of mine." If you're familiar with all of the ahamkara gear, it uses "oh bearer of mine"
