Wrong, iron and exile are the same house. Us and the fallen call them the exile, but they see themselves not as dishonored, but as born again. So they say they are as strong as iron, and that's why they attack the hive and cabal

And where does it say that they call themselves Iron?

Look at their walkers. And there is a mention of the exile being on Mars, I think they call themselves iron to make them seem stronger than they are

But why would we call them Iron Walkers and call all of the others Exiles? Those Walkers are probably remnants from another House that was assimilated into the Exiles

Because, we gave them the title of exile to make them look weak, when really they are the house of iron

The Exiles are made of the exiled, shunned, and banished of all other Houses. Their core group seems to be made of remnants of the House of Scars. The Iron Walkers are most likely scavenged or brought by exiled Fallen
