IB gear = fake 310s!
IB gear = fake 310s which means you are booted from my fireteam.
IB gear drops at 280 so you will have to infuse your way to 310 which isn't worth it. Plus using IB gear in the raid is worthless anyways.
Edit: only true year one vets know what I am saying. See all the salt posted below!

310 is 310, and your dumb if you think anything else. The perks for the raid gear aren't anything that is required, especially if you have black spindle or ToM.

Just for this post imma get all 310 iron banner gear. Shit I still got all my year 1 iron banner gear. And im sure most of the iron banner gear will be better than the raid gear. Wont see you in the raid or iron banner. Thankfully this scrub wont be on my team. :)

Sup been around since november last year still have a complete set of regalia and breed for my warlock :) deleted the weapons for parts I have 4 guns i kept and they aren't IB guns :3 every now and then you'll find me in crucible sporting my old banner gear wearing the old guard shader. For best results breed helmet, regalia chest, gauntlets and boots. Seeya in the crucible this iron banner (not wearing the old banner gear thats suicide lol)

So you are saying that it's better to use a useless raid armor than the one you need. Let's take an example : I loot some raid harm that reload auto rifle and I play with hand canon, so if you are smart you infuse some crappy raid armor into a harm that reload hand canon. But I think you are not smart enough to get it.
