Helps spread awareness so people can learn to do regular check-ups to detect it as early as possible. It is to prevent it from getting to the point where it can kill you. Cancer research foundations haven't learned how to completely prevent it but still, by going to check-ups regularly can help detect it early and prevent it from doing as much bodily harm as we can.
It's attitudes like that that get people to stop looking nice for a cure.
As for the rest of us hopeful people, we'll continue to wait and hope that a cure is found. You can sit there, with your "there will never be a cure" attitude.
Great I hope people do stop looking for a cure, because there is no MEDICINAL remedy for it only "holistic" a rather taboo term to most, but drastically changing what most of us eat on a daily basis can stop or greatly decrease the amount of cancerous cells our bodies produce. Do some research maybe before you just sit on the sideline and wait for a miracle drug. But for now stop pumping money into a lucrative pool of money which is "insert body part" cancer awareness.
I stopped reading your comment as soon as you said "I hope they stop looking for a cure." That's all I needed to read to know that your one of those "nature and meditation will cure cancer" idiots.
