We need a breast cancer awareness shader!
I think it'd be cool if we had an all pink shader for October. What do you think guardians?
Edit: It was just an idea of mine, so I posted it. A lot of people are saying, "What about other diseases?" It isn't that I don't care about any other issues, I just thought it would be nice just because it's October.
Edit 2: Also, I didn't mean you'd have to make a donation for it, I meant that you'd receive it for free, just to raise awareness.
Edit 3: There are mixed opinions about this. Someone gave the idea of having shader for all cancer. But that leaves other diseases out. I wasn't suggesting that It should be implemented. It was just an idea to create discussion.

1 ReplyPretty sure there's a pink shader in Destiny. It's not called Boobie shader, but it's still pink. I remember becuase there was a pink day in Destiny back when it launched.

I think they either weren't that common to begin with or they've learned their lesson the hard way -- by being slapped with more dicks than a cameraman for Magic Mike. Why not just cancer in general or something? A donation thing would be nice, I don't really like the idea of giving you stuff for donating though, kinda takes away the purpose..

7 RepliesI think it is strange that so much attention goes toward one form of cancer, which is far from the most common or fatal. All forms are awful. Lung cancer is a lot more common.

1 ReplyAs painful it is to say it I'd rather not see another Donation system from bungie. Even though it seem like a great thing you gotta think about it in another way. When this game first came out all everyone wanted to do was VoG hard mode. I too was like that but I was unable to do it for 4 week with each day being a new raid group fill of completely different people. Every raid group ended up the same. Always insulting someone disability. My disability. Until eventually a group that didn't insult my disability beat atheon. After that I didn't want to LFG with random anymore. Fast forward a couple month to destiny first charity run. I thought good to see bungie doing something right. As time goes by I read on the forum about other people getting insulted. Some were as joke some were people actually insulted for no reason. Reading about this and thinking to what happened to me I started to think "the destiny community is full of terrible people". After the recent one (Nepal I believe) I keep seeing video of youtuber saying how awesome the community is because of what they are doing. And I'm sitting here like really? Is bungie actually trying to help people or helping itself by making people who do nothing but insult look good?
