I was just gonna buy the vendor one because it looked good My patch A dropped with a godly roll; field choke, rifled barrel, shit package and close and/or personal

It all depends on your rolls. I got a really nice one on my Hunter right now: Third Eye, Outlaw, Hand-Laid Stock.

Not gonna lie, I'm jealous of that roll. I got third eye, rangefinder and small bore.

(of course I'm also expecting it whenever I use Taikonaut w/the FWC vendor Rocket Launcher ... fortunately I'm not good enough to get hate mail? :) ) I've got a Herja-D w/Crowd Control, Rodeo, Hand-Laid Stock ... It would be amazing if it had anything besides Rodeo. 100% stability and it "bucks" more than the Villainy because of the *(&%^&^$ Rodeo perk. Honestly, the best thing Bungie did was not making weapons rerollable. Suddenly drops matter more. Haven't felt this attached to weapons since Vanilla.

Agreed, when you get the perfect drop you are so pumped instead of having everyone reroll the same perks for every gun

Exactly. I feel bad for anyone who isn't getting any rolls they like/they can work with (and bungie seem to have this in mind with the vendor weapons containing a lot of good but not god rolls). On the other hand, weapon drops matter (and thank you Bungie for upping the Legendary drop rate enough that we have choices ... along with Armsday packages).
