Activsion... the company most know for CoD.... has not done anything stupid on their other games. They're not going to start now. From a business perspective (I'm a business man myself), there isn't any reason for companies NOT to use microtransactions. It's a great profit booster. People buy and everyone is happy long as you aren't FORCED to buy to get better or advance in the game. They know that if people are FORCED to buy, they'll lose more business than they'll make. Basic and easy.
