You're throwing out hypotheticals though lol Call of duty (Activision) is far more greedy and stupid than Destiny. Yet even they haven't been ballsy enough to sell weapons or anything non-cosmetic via microtransactions. Destiny is 100% not going to either. Edit: not to mention, Bungie specifically stated that purchasing would not be needed to win crucible matches or finish a raid. The fact that they specifically pointed it out in their article where they first revealed microtransactions should tell people that they're aware how dumb of an idea that would be.
