Micro Transactions Don't Belong in $60 games.
There's no justification for it. Even if I don't spend a dime myself doesn't mean it's not sick that I paid for this game and every expansion pass and still have items blocked off from me.
It doesn't matter what items your selling.
It doesn't matter how cheap they are.
You're taking advantage of people and it's wrong. It's not a debate.

$60!? I originally paid $80 (with tax) for the game, bought both TDB and HoW, and bought TTK. Thats a total of $160

Problem is a lot of us have spent a lot more than $60 on the game since it came out closer to 150 - $200 but it's not like they're gonna say oh okay we've gotten $200 from each one of the people playing the game that's totally enough. No they are always going to want more money. lately I feel like I'm being bled for every possible penny they can get out of me.

I don't like microtransactions either, but if it's just cosmetic stuff I'm not going to complain. As of right now the silly extras don't effect anyone not willing to pay for them...maybe we should just relax about this one. There's bigger battles to fight. Good luck out there guardian.

It's not a debate because you're wrong. You can get the items, just pay for them like anyone else. You are in no way disadvantaged in gameplay by not purchasing any cosmetic items for sale. You have the game you paid for, why ruin it for yourself by sweating such a petty detail? This is a business and they have no post-launch revenue stream built in to the game. How long do you think it'll be before they either do another wave of purchased dlc? If the revenue from this move goes on to fund mid-stream quests, strikes and other operational enrichment of the game, I'm all for the concept.

It's not a 60 dollar game. 60 dollar vanilla game and 80 dollars worth of dlc. It's activision, and they're bloody good and bending over their customers for every last penny.
