On Venus in patrol when you activate the skull and cross bones beacon it states taken are moving in on a golden age relic. Perhaps the relics are a rng drop for completing this patrol?

Maybe there is a chest that drops when you activate that patrol. Follow them instead of killing or search area with largest presence of enemy
