Any use to level gunsmith past rank 1?
As title says, whats the point behind rank 1? I placed an order right now.

Ok first off, if you get to say lvl 3 that means you can order 3 weapons a week I think the max for ordering weapons would be 5 but I'll still assume you'll be able to get packages from each rank you go up and secondly when you get a character to rank 2 with banshee you get a mini quest for a class exclusive secondary weapon and then at rank 3 you get a mini quest for a class exclusive exotic primary. That interest you to higher than rank 1?

I got a weapon package from him at rank three that basically give me a free gun.

You get one order per level. You can get 3 weapons a week if you are rank 3 and you get exotic quests

More orders and Gunsmith rep packages. I got a 290 SUROS JPS-42 Rocket Launcher with actually good perks for my PvE gaming.

I do believe the higher the rank the more perk rolls you get to choose from on arms day deliveries. Today my suros scout had two options and one said requires rank 2

You can also order an extra weapon at rank 2, not sure if you can order a 3rd at rank 3. And the class specific quests for a legendary and exotic gun at rank 2 and 3 respectively.

There is always a reason to rank up all factions, cryptarch gunsmith etc

Rank 2 you get a quest for a class specific special legendary weapon. At rank 3 you get and exotic quest for a class specific primary, check out my warlock. And every rank you can order a new weapon, as well as possible drops for ranking it up.
