Antiquated Rune
Has anyone else given the Antiquated Rune a shot in the court of oryx? Just got done trying it with 6 others and couldn't even get the bosses health halfway down. Any thoughts?
Edit: got it done with a 3 man team you guys were right it's easy when you get the buff

Lnao I completed it in under two minutes. The first time I lagged like crazy... It's extremely easy though if you get 6 people (find a person in patrol and tell him to invite two more then start it up)

It's super easy. Focus fire on the ogre and take out smaller Ogres and turrets when they pop up. Make sure all ads are down before killing the ogre and everyone then needs to use supers and swords on the wizard as soon as the ogre goes down. You literally have like 10 seconds to kill her.

I apparently completed one Antiquated rune for the quest but all of the monsters we fought were horribly easy and took 0 effort..

3 RepliesI soloed it. I stood on the upper platform behind the portal. Theres that structure with a nice open groove that you can shoot the big ogre in the face, also get the 2 upper eyes on either side. Once the big guy was down took out my sword and swung away. Did that twice and done.

I have done it many times. Communication is key. Either invite those randos to party chat or use the fireteam voice option. First and foremost is you need to shoot down the ogres first (also revive downed teammates ASAP) then shoot down the eye balls. By that time you all should have your supers to use it and obliterate the foes :)

Literally just did it with 2 other people. Shoot eyes. Kill big ogre. Charge wizard with swords and heavy Profit. Add control is common sense. The red bar ogres go down quickly just team Shoot them.

Pulled it off with me and teammate plus two randoms. Killing certain adds give you ogre boost up to times 3. Hit big ogre when you have x3. Spam warlock with swords after he dies

3 RepliesEdited by BACTERIA SOUR: 9/20/2015 12:17:27 AMDrop in and the team should stay behind the two rocks poking out to shoot, revives are critical here. Kill the 6 or 8 orbs (eyes) that shoot at you when they spawn which will give you a buff (gives you mad bonus damage against the ogre) that can stack 3x. Two to 3 waves into it the ogre should be downed if this buff is applied in each wave. Everyone then hauls ass up to the platform to kill the taken wizard immediately. If you don't kill it fast enough the ogre will respawn and be twice as hard plus twice the ads, leaving almost no time on the clock to beat.

I just beat three. We had seven people in the Court, I was a 293 Nightstalker, using my currant gear setup. Kill 2-3 Acolyte Eyes, and let a Shadowshot loose, then DPS the Ogre. When the Ogre dies, everybody runs up with swords, if you can, Shadowshot the wizard for extra damage. You have to kill the wizard in the amount of time allowed.

Breezed through is with 5 other ransoms. I use my rune and they helped. Vice versa. It's freKing epic beating it the first time. Not impossible. There's a way for every boss combo. Just gotta learn the way each is killed and be smart
