This analogy is completely off base.
1) You actually own the car, you bought a physical object. However you do not own the rights to the brand which the car was manufactured.
2) Software is not a physical medium which you can own unless you write it yourself. You bought a physical disc which you own but cannot own the IP on the disc. You sign an agreement to get access to said content.
A better analogy is like a book series. Unless you keep buying more books to complete the series, you can't progress any further and are stuck where you stopped buying the books.
In the books is a story which you do not own, the author owns the story which you paid to READ, you didn't buy the rights to the story.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
