Haha try it ;) I did it yesterday got the same heavy (on m hunter) but with lvl 258 i infused my weaker one and its still weaker than the 258 :)) big fail is all I can say and spent 3 legendary marks

Yeah it doesnt always go to the exact same level. Often drops 1. Its just so you can keep your fav gear

Yeah by spending tons of mats and legendary marks ... Also seems to be a different if you get ur legendaries out of a lvl up pack. All my gear is weaker than the ones we can buy from them

Once your light level is 280 the packages will drop higher stat roll gear. The game gives/awards you gear around your current level to either keep you the same or slightly increase your level
