Companies from time to time have been known to employee a few different strategies to make money. Activision goes with annualized garbage with less content for more money. It works for them and it leads to games having less and less. Some companies (blizzard, rock star, Bethesda to name a few) employee and exact opposite approach and still stay a float. So please don't defend a company for literally screwing us for profits.
