I believe Marty was trying to protect Bungie from what eventually anyway happened. There's a saying that goes like [i]Don't do good things that seem to be bad doings[/i]. Maybe His motives were right and truthful but He mishandled things. Maybe His motives weren't right. The only thing for sure is that He wanted in a way for Us to enjoy to the full extent Our experiences and whether Bungie wanted it or not this make them look bad. Really awful bad.
