Nope. I will be using it right up until the moment 2.0 goes live. I don't play a ton of crucible. But why would you leave you best tool sitting in the tool box?
I guess if you have a million kills with it, and are just bored of it, I could see it.

I imagine so. Messenger, pilgrim, and red death seem like they are going to be the new guns everybody wants nerfed. I'll try something else after the patch, but till then....
