It's official, NO DAY 1 RAID for ttk

Ign spoke with Luke Smith in a recent interview at PAX and stated
"It's not going to be available day one."
But he did say they will let us know when to take off time from work :)
I was already prepared not to raid day 1 as none of the other raids were available day 1.
What are your thoughts on the new raid since it is going to be huge?
Any sweet game mechanics you think will be implemented?
Drop a comment below and share the info to other Guardians who thought it was day 1 content.
**edit1** My own personal opinion is that I was fully ready and aware of this as I have been here since the "Beta" I am simply trying to share info to guardians not yet aware of this as we have newcomers and folks that didn't realize this. Just share the knowledge and help one another.

The tryhards who are surgically grafted to their couches and burn through content in a matter of hours will be pissed. Everyone else won't even notice as they're too busy actually enjoying the content and leveling up.

So what? I would rather a well polished raid then another crota's end.

I dont give 2 cents about PvE, i want to rush through the carebear stuff so that i am properly geared for PvP! And i guessing there are more like me that acually wants to rush through things. I do however agree with those that say "if u rush you shouldnt complain about content 2 weeks after release"

Nobody is going to have the experience to the weapons or the armor to do the raid anyway so why is everybody worked up?!?!

I dunno. I always thought crotas end was pretty lame. All Crota did was walk back and fourth waiting to be killed lame. Hopefully this raid isn't like that.

I plan the raid to be one of the last things I do in TTK. I want to level up characters and subclasses, go through the missions, do the strikes, do the quests, and gain more gear before I face off oryx.

Doesn't bother me as we will all be leveling up

this is a standard with destiny that we our expect, the raid will be an event just like CE and ToO, we are need time the get to 40 and collect some gear and bungie knows this but hopefully we get all three modes before the end of sep

5 RepliesLuke Smith Arrogance: “I’m not going to announce the plan for it on the YouTube gaming stage…But I promise for people who are excited about the raid will know when it’s time to take time off work. We’ll give em’ a heads up”. Unlike almost nearly game where you get the endgame content when you buy the content, not TTK. But, hey, Luke's gonna let me know when I can take off work to play Destiny!

3 RepliesChances are, a lot of guardians wouldn't be level 40 with gear good enough for the new raid on day one anyway. I have no problems with no day 1 raid.
