Agreed. It's amazing that anyone would be as shit-all tone deaf as to believe the original tweet wouldn't generate any offense at all. It's even more amazing that the clown thought he could tamp down the offense with a follow-up tweet simply pontificating that the original statement wasn't offensive at all. Then again, it seems to have worked. Lots of folks are accepting the bald pontification at face value.
