You guys do realize why Bungie is making everything (apart from a few exotics) UN-upgradable?
They're essentially wiping the guns clean and it's OUR fault.
Still using that old sniper from TDB that has final round?

I use these tactics and weapons, I'm at fault for being a scrub.
I blame others for elitism, but us as a community are to blame for that as well.
I mostly blame Bungie for making such OP weapons and then taking their time to nerf them.
Taking a lot of time too.
Thorn has been dominating for quite some time now. On top of that, you can still glitch Thorn (Never done that before, but was blamed for doing so)
Am I salty?
A little. Playing against a team of all Thorn is kinda frustrating.
Some Hopscotch here and there, but not too bad.
I'm so hyped for weapons patch 2.0 and for our weapons to be mostly useless in TTK.
Hopefully Bungie won't screw up this time and make a certain gun the next Gjallarhorn.

8 RepliesIt's a MMO. Wiping the slate clean is part of how you keep balance. Bungie gave us upgrades in HoW and it was, from a game-design perspective, unmitigated disaster. They did this in the beginning, and it was the right call then. It is not the LDR or Shadow Price or even Thorn's fault. It's not a fault at all. It's a feature- not a bug. I look forward to the kiosks. I am fine with the progression reset.

I look forward to the weapon nerf when TTK comes out. The people who previously relied on such pathetic weapons are going to be easy picking. Why else would they need to use them? They can't aim. I can run around with a fatebringer or even a bad juju in rumble and beat an entire lobby of thorns. Imagine how easy it'll be when you actually need [i]skill[/i] to kill someone with a hand cannon...

ya i agree 100% that it is because the players complain so much. then there is the fact that bungie has been deciding how to play their game for a whole year now so its not like its a big change or anything, its just that they finally stepped on a stone that hurt peoples feelings and now they have something else to complain about but bungie most likely wont care because as i said... they did this for a whole year with almost no negative feedback that affect anything. such as idk not buying their product would be a good start. most people have already stopped buying

You know, any time l try to come up with a sensible reaction to anything new to Destiny l often come off as a jerk or go on a long tangent that has nothing to do with my original point. This right here is how people should act on these forums, in any forums.

I have all exotic weapons except 4th Horsman and I can't wait to leave a bunch behind. Problem is there's too many people that want the easy way out or to feel special because they have a certain weapon, I say who cares. That is my opinion.

Whenever I feel like I suck with fang of ir yût or any other gun, Vex brings me do the top of our teams leaderboard, and 95% of the time we win! (Other 5% is with a round with more than 25% of users using thorn or last word or are using the infinite titan bubble exploit)
