so is it safe now to dismantle any legendaries you want now seeing how we wont get legendary marks for year one gear?

Because what you own determines your starting light level? Something like that. Deej was very adamant about not dismantling ANYTHING.

Because old legendaries can be infused into new gear to raise the new gears abilities

No you can't. Only higher level year 2 guns fuse into year 2 guns from what I saw.

Don't believe they will. Year 1 legendary guns won't have a higher attack value than year 2 ones. Basically you have to infuse with equal or greater attack value than weapon you want to upgrade.
