To all those buying the Gjallarhorn..
Congrats! RNG can be mean, I only got the God of War shader a few weeks ago! Don't let these salty people infect you. I got my 1st Gjallarhorn on Crota's End from the Deathsinger, when I was dead for that whole entire encounter.. I didn't "earn" it, your strange coins were earned so these salty guardians can keep quiet..

*UPDATE* nice to see a lot of love from fellow Guardians but it's unfortunate that there's a large amount of Guardians that need to get checked out at the hospital for poisoning because of all the salt inside them..
Thought I'd share that I have 3 Gjallarhorns already, I got my second and third from nightfalls (a week apart funnily enough)
Don't listen to the salt about "it's gonna be nerfed so who cares" as they're only reducing the damage of the wolfpack rounds, and I don't see them reducing it by much, meaning it will still be a beast weapon, but we'll have to wait and see..
Elitists can cry extra salty tears today, they deserve to...

I received my gally only after 24 hours of game play on the ps4 and two weeks on the xbox got them both from the same guy Thanks xur

I received my gally through a Vanguard strike back in November, approximately 2 weeks after I started playing Destiny. There was no skill involved, just blind luck. I'm glad everyone has it now. It'll be a hell of a lot easier to defeat Skolas and raid bosses. Thank you Bungie.

8 RepliesRNG is broken as hell that'd why XUR exists. It's like they figured it was easier to input him than fix the rewards system. Perhaps Xur will be gone now that Taken King supposedly has a better drop system in place. But seriously when guys have 1000 hours and no Gally and some guy with less hours has had it drop 5 times, that's broken

I'm a day one player and won't apologize for buying it from Xur after passing up the first opportunity last year to buy one. Granted I don't play the game anymore but I have been checking on Xur''s inventory every week for just one thing....a Gjally. I have one, finally, and will no longer bother with Xur or the game. My final wish has been granted.

4 RepliesThe gally was "earned" with luck not skill, not kills not anything BUT luck. Bungie did mess it up by selling it though. Those of us who were lucky enough to obtain it through hours and days of playing feel like it was for nothing because we couldve waited to buy it. Why would someone want a weapon that you can buy?? I'm for sure not buying taken king after this....what a waste...
