Is no time to explain a evolving version of strangers rifle or a just a really similar weapon? Could it be the strangers rifle with arc burn shown in one of the trailers?

I bet, it is the evolving version of strangers rifle from what I've heard. Bungie heard that we wanted Stranger's Rifle to be upgradable and they did it.

Probably, yeah... It is hard (impossible) to do the quest line that was finished. You can do missions but that's it.
