It's not Bungie's fault, activision forced the Devs to make as much money as possible, which included chopping up the story to make more DLC.

Well, look at all the games activision has been a part of; several DLC's and lots of bonuses if you pre-order. It's also been a conspiracy since the original story for destiny wasn't what it was long before launch (watch trailer)
