Does that mean you can't put them in the vault and switch them between characters or do you just need to use that class to get the weapon?

It will probably be luke the armour, if you put a warlock weapon on a hunter it will come up with, requires warlock class, or vise versa.

No, like class specific exotics. You can't give a hunter helm of st 14. Will probably work like that.

Probably locked to use on a certain class, like how legendaries and exotics are locked to use of exp level 20s.
