For those of you trying to compare Xbox and playstation here's some numbers:
Halo over 3.4 billion dollars in sales 65 million copies
Gears of war over 1 billion in sales with 22 million copies
Uncharted coming in third with 21 million copies sold.

lifetime numbers are higher now for uncharted than Gears, your post is old. now that both titles are having remastered releases we will see which sells more in the end again

well my point in the end was that Uncharted is more than 8 million in sales, you are right my numbers are numbers of copies sold and that goes for all 3 games posted

Sorry didn't realize that was an old article here's more numbers: According to Microsoft, the Gears of War series has sold over 22 million units and earned over $1 billion (USD) in revenue as of January 2014. The Uncharted series trilogy has sold over 21 million copies worldwide as of June 2015. The Halo games have sold over 65 million copies worldwide, with the games alone grossing almost $3.4 billion.
