You Don't EAT Ammo Synths...Do You?
So in my Destiny career, I've heard the phrase "pop a synth" plenty of times, but occasionally back then (and very often recently), I've been hearing a lot of random players say "eat a synth".
Now, I don't know exactly what you do with ammo synthesis (plural form of synthesis?), but I don't think you EAT them.
I've been hearing so much (usually from younger sounding players):
"Gonna eat a synth"
"One sec, eating heavy ammo"
"Cover me, gonna eat a heavy synthesis"
But IDK, maybe I'm wrong.

Wait, there's something else you do other than eat them? I just keep pressing mine every time I'm hungry. I make sure I have full rounds in each gun because it pleases the synth

Never heard of someone "eating" a synth. But if you eat something, it disappears and reappears as a couple of cylindrical objects. Gun eats synth, then shits out bullets [spoiler]everything makes sense when you drink [/spoiler]

They need to add an animation in TTK where when you take a synth, your guardian actually pulls it out of his imaginary backpack and then eats it. The sound of crunching will be heard.

Pop. Although I will see heavy ammo on the ground and say,..."oooo, a piece of candy!"

A buddy and I say "Burn a synth" or "Burn a Heavy". I think because we have so many we kind of waste them

It is a consumable. Therefore people associate consume with eat, and you get "eat a synth." Use common sense kiddo
