Community Wish List (old)

Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through. In order to make sure you get your idea seen, post a new topic to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/Default/None/Feedback]#Feedback[/url] forum and add the tag #CommunityWishList. This will give us an easy way to review all of your ideas you would like to be added to the list.
Please remember that this is not a To-Do List for Bungie. We can’t promise that every idea is being worked on actively. Our goal here is to confirm that your feedback has been received. Everything on this list are things that the players of Destiny have repeatedly asked for.

My wish is that when I spend 1-2 hours running the only raid (that can only be ran once a week) that can give you end game gear I actually get those well deserved loot drops. Too many weeks in a row have I only gotten maybe one or two actual items after opening the chests (and this is only hard mode where I am supposed to be getting both drops for normal and hard mode). I realize this could be rng just messing with me but there have been times where most of my fireteam have not received anything besides moldering shards.

Was it me or did I do The Will of Crota strike and Cerberus Vae III strike on the level 41 playlist last night. Looks like we have some year one strikes ramped up to level 41, nice keep it up. Great fun again, Omnigul screams return!

The possibility to do raids, the super hard assault of the week, or the hard mission where you beat up the prisoners at the awokens, [u]With random players made by matchmaking [/u], because we don't always have the time to search for a party by ourselves. It's hard for my friends and me to find a common time where we can play together. Thanks for hearing that. And maybe a pause button?? It's maddening to restart everything in the beginning because we had to go to the toilet, or someone is calling us, or maybe you have a woman (or man) nagging you to do stuff...

Please remove light level from class items (marks, bonds and cloaks). Or at least make rare ones infuseable. There are so many cool class items left unused whilst many of the legendary ones are not even affected by shaders.

3 RepliesCan we also stop with the weapons metas? I just hate seeing everybody using the same guns. (Mida/last word and 1000 yard stare). That's pretty much the only combo I ever see especially in trials. I wanna see more variety.

Can we get a fix on the melee lag? I feel like I shotgun people but they still have time to melee me before they die. It leads to me dying in stupid situations. I know it can often be my own connection but often times I know it's not. I know I'm not the first person to notice it. Please make things a little smoother.

Just have 1 wish, pls stop giving us high light level guardian lower loot drops..pls for God sake!!!..if I'm 318 light why do I still get 265(example) weapons/armor drops?...if your intention is for us to progress to reach 320 light level this is not the way to go..or this was never your intention to begin with?...

To make swords more loved in general, (not effective in encounters versus other heavy weapons, short range compared to basically anything else, very low use in Crucible ) could one-hit kills against un-shielded targets as well as the blade animation be a permanent fixture even without Heavy Ammo? A powered sword could have damage increased to Super-killer levels and sport a blade with swirly elemental effects in addition to the blocking. It would go a long way towards making a sword worthy of my Heavy slot. A sword is not comparable to a machine gun, but could step up to a shot gun, or maybe some primaries.

How about less shotguns because it is extremely aggravating to be on a15 kill streak then get rushed with a shotgun and die because that's annoying

Since I doubt it will happen without it costing silver but I gladly pay silver if I must buy please allow us to upgrade a year 1 class item to a year 2 version please I miss my old vanilla Hunter cloaks
