Each character once per week being able to gain guaranteed strange coins maybe 5 from heroics and 5 from nightfall. And higher reputation gain (350-400) for factions upon completing nightfall. Somewhat similar to year 1 Destiny.

Hi everyone, came up with an idea for new pvp content, the basic objective of this activity is to give players an event to participate in for a decent amount of time, and making iron banner something to work towards. It's called [b]Iron Lords Gauntlet[/b]. Lasts for the three weeks a month that iron banner is not active. It begins when you hit rank four in the iron banner, you will be rewarded an Iron Lords battle log. Within this log is 20 bounties for you to complete, completion of each of these increases your Iron Lords Favour ranking, capping at rank 3. [u]The Bounties[/u] The bounties themselves will vary in difficulty as the iron banner bounties do, and will involve a variety of objectives to complete; subclass specific objectives to force players to use all of their characters abilities, kills with specific weapons or with specific items equipped, ability kills, killstreaks etc. These will also utilise most of the different pvp modes for variety, meaning you can't complete the entire log spamming control for a week straight. Completion of the Iron Lords battle log leaves you at rank three, the log will then be returned to Lord Saladin on the following iron banner for the rewards... [u]The Rewards[/u] The Iron Lords Gauntlet introduces a new type of loot; Forged gear. Basically in the same vein as the adept versions of trials loot, Forged versions will be re-skins of the current iron banner weapon selection, with a passive PvP specific perk added, such as third eye for example. However, the iron banner armour will also have an upgrade for Iron Lords Gauntlet, just as the raid gear has its Harrowed counterpart. These Forged armour pieces will also be re-skins of the current/ future iron banner armour, with perks specific to different pvp modes, for example increased agility while runner in rift or increased reload speed and weapon handling while capturing in control, or possibly a quick res armour piece so you don't take up your exotic slot with current quick res armour. Handing in the completed battle log to Lord Saladin with reward a 315 Forged weapon and 315 Forged armour piece, with a chance at one of two new shaders which will follow the re-skinned theme of the Forged weapons and armour. These rewards won't only be available by turning in your battle log, they will be available as post-game drops at iron banner rank 4 and upwards. Forged class items, shaders and possibly emblems will also be drops from matches at rank 4 and up to give people incentive to actually play and rank up iron banner after turning in their battle log. Post game drops as follows; weapons drop at 300-320 light, armour at 300-320. Please let me know what you think guys, would you like something like this and would you take part? Thanks

Add a pvp mode where you fly your ship and battle other ships or we get a strike with us using our ships

I have a ton of bonds at 319 or lower but can't get the 320 to drop. It would be great if you could infuse a 319 item into a 319 item and have it move up to a 320 item. Or use an etheric light to increase any items light level by 1 or 2. Grinding for one drop is fun at first, but it eventually becomes tedious and takes away from the game.

You guys need to keep the game worth grinding for. Year one was a pain in the ass struggle but it was worth playing. It took forever to level up but, making it to endgame content (VOG hard mode) was worth it. It took continuous grinding to get the best guns but it was worth it. I didn't feel the same excitement finishing Oryx as I did finishing Atheon. I hated the struggle of completing the thorn bounty but I loved being able to say that I completed it (3 times). Man, was the Vault tough, and aggravating, and glitchy as could be but, I loved walking around with the Mythoclast to show off that I had it. I spent a lot of time acquiring the skills and fire team to complete year 1 content. I defeated Skolas and chose the Queenbreakers Bow the day before the "moments of triumph" deadline. I loved that gun for the short time it was relevant. What good is anything I grinded for in year 1? None, it's all totally irrelevant. What is there worth grinding for in year 2? Nothing, nothing is better than anything else. I haven't been hit with anything in year 2 that made me want to grind for it. I hated being hit with Thorn, Gjallarhorn, Ice Breaker and Vex Mythoclast but those guns are what I grinded for. They are why I continued to play. When they became irrelevant and weren't replaced with anything more relevant, I stopped playing. I sign on here and there hoping for that spark to reignite but it doesn't and I log back off and play another game. Yes, people cried "nerf, nerf, it's op!!!" but I feel they should not have been listened to. You should have made a new round of op guns, and another and another. It gives people things worth playing for. Keep everything relevant, keep year one content fresh year after year. Year one was very aggravating but worth playing. Year 2 is bland, watered down, nothing spectacular. Let the babies cry about op, if you look at my stats, you'll see I didn't use my op guns much. I liked the satisfaction of having them and the satisfaction of taking down the people that used them but I didn't use them as a crutch and I didn't cry about the people who did. I understood that people had to work hard for guns in year one and deserved to enjoy them. I think nerfing and balancing is the opposite of what should have been done. Keep those amazing year one guns worth having. Don't throw away the things people spent hundreds of hours to get. Year one you said, "look at these amazing guns that you might get if you complete this activity a countless number of times". Year two you said, "remember those amazing guns we made you grind countless hours for? Guess what, they're junk now. You know what's even better? We're not giving you anything amazing to replace them with. In fact, we're gonna make everything equally unimportant. This way, after you grind hour after hour in year two, there will be no sense of satisfaction for all the grinding you just did." Yes, new content is good but, it's only as good as the rewards you play it for. Bring back op, F the crybabies. I'm no elitist (my k/d is probably below 1.0) but I agree with those that say "git gud skrub". Suck it up, people grinded FOR op guns, let them enjoy them. To this day VOG is my favorite activity but there's no rewards anymore, just outdated gear. Yes, year one needed fixing but not in the direction you all took it. Most (95%) of my xbox friends list was made from playing destiny. Now, only 5% of my list plays destiny. Think about it, you're doing something wrong. You're headed in the wrong direction. People complained in year one but, at least they still played.
