Community Wish List (old)

Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through. In order to make sure you get your idea seen, post a new topic to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/Default/None/Feedback]#Feedback[/url] forum and add the tag #CommunityWishList. This will give us an easy way to review all of your ideas you would like to be added to the list.
Please remember that this is not a To-Do List for Bungie. We can’t promise that every idea is being worked on actively. Our goal here is to confirm that your feedback has been received. Everything on this list are things that the players of Destiny have repeatedly asked for.

Running low on exotic shards to upgrade my arsenal. Especially when you endorse x3 characters. Surley we should be able to trade glimmer/motes of light for them?

Bring back year one weapons. Bungie should make vog and ce harder and reward people with year 2 versions of the year 1 weapons. It would give us all a reason to play the other raids again. Or have them drop and need a consumable only available for from poe to make them infusable. I think if the raid gear and weapons from year one could be made relevant again it could give us a lot to do until September when we might see destiny 2 and would give us a reason to play the entire game again

First off, i just play the game for a month and second, for years i dont use a controler to play i was a PC gamer now on ps4. Now to the point, trials of osiris are meant to be played and won by the best of all, and i dont disagree it gives more thrill for the rewards. But... 1. People like me are getting battles versus veterans year 1 and I face it, theyre remarkable good players. 2. Laggers, having to melle 3 times or 2 headshots of shotgun at point blank and none giving damage due to latency. My question is, couldn't Bungie simply make versus matchmaking balances on something like "elo"? I think people would enjoy more trials rather having people getting stressed over a game, which ive seen a lot. Thanks to everyone who had the patience to read this opinion.

You guys should fix the crucible as well as eradicate shotguns it's ridiculous that I can't even attempt the trials of Osiris without lag or extremely overpowered weapons on the other team.

Re-Roll Vender weapons. By now DB had dropped with all new stock. I understand your probably working on Destiny 2 [i]Although you refuse to tell us anything[/i] but imagine if gun stats changed every few months or new ones where added. Would spice up PvP at the very least and keep people interested in finding that perfect gun. Credit to Planet Destiny for the idea.

1 ReplyBetter pve. The whole public event thing sucks. Too rare, no one does it anyways. Give no worth while reward. We need something better. That had replay value other than the same repeated select strikes. (It's not easy, takes time, and money. Far more than pvp) For the next update/game/dlc hopefully there's a lot more pve that really draws players. Things that have actual intense do or die moments that Require full team work. Things that players love. Enough strike bullet sponge. Just adding an extra opponent doesn't make it fresh and exciting. Some tomb raider shit would, Indiana Jones, etc. Random generated puzzles that require a different order to complete random events. (Not carry shiny ball from here to there, complete. It was an interesting start though) Moments you have to split up but aren't impossible. Or maybe the option to split up to flip a few switches at the same time like vault of glass starting area, but not necessary, and has a better out come if you do manage to activate more. Options. Different paths that have random events. (Changing enemy to taken instead of usual enemy is not exciting or fresh, it's annoying but on the right track) we like to have some power in the out come. Ex) -oh you activated one switch, boss has one of these random weapons, random ability, random side kick/adds. To get to boss now you have to do this objective or now this enemy spawns. -you activated 2? Boss gets shield and random weapon. Random add, but there's two heavy crates that await you in the field. -you got all three, but failed to kill the random mini boss that appeared down that strange path you stumbled on before he escaped. Now he spawns halfway through main boss fight with a special set of limited adds. Added chance for better loot or extra loot piece added. -etc. Something that the players can actually predict or just run through the motions with. Options. We need options. Something that draws us in. But always gives rewards.

I don't mind events but I'd rather pay money for DLC. Also change the Challenges in in the raid so it gives it variety.

1 ReplyTrials of osiris matchmaking fix. I'm sorry but i rarely play crucible and the trials of osiris just affirms my decision. If i lose to a team that's like me and just played a little better that's fine but losing 5-0 week after week to scarab emblem players has made me want to quit even doing bounties for trials anymore.

My wish is to never have to deal with Luke smiths arrogance again. His attitude is the attitude that bungie has taken on. And it's destroying the community. People don't like Luke. People don't wanna see him in any way have major game altering decisions to make. Bungie, ur management is a issue. Fix it. Admit u have made some mistakes so u and ur community can start looking forward to what is ahead.
