Community Wish List (old)

Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through. In order to make sure you get your idea seen, post a new topic to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/Default/None/Feedback]#Feedback[/url] forum and add the tag #CommunityWishList. This will give us an easy way to review all of your ideas you would like to be added to the list.
Please remember that this is not a To-Do List for Bungie. We can’t promise that every idea is being worked on actively. Our goal here is to confirm that your feedback has been received. Everything on this list are things that the players of Destiny have repeatedly asked for.

1 ReplySo my comment got deleted when all I suggested is that instead of three of coins dropping nothing they drop an exotic shard if you didn't get the engram so you can still be rewarded from using the coin then as usual instead of an exotic shard you actually get the engram it makes sense and would solve the shortage of exotic shards listen to your community bungie

5 RepliesTurn on matchmaking for everything. I have owned the game since day 1 and have never done a raid because no one wants to just do it for fun. Turn on matchmaking and let me match with other players who just want to play for fun and I would be playing for another few months. Otherwise I've already done all the PvE stuff

1 ReplyCan we please have a poll where the community votes that way the designers know what we want and everyone's happy. For new events like Crimson doubles if the community likes it then we vote a yes. Weapons, put a poll with different weapon types and let us vote which should get buffed which should get nerfed.

Please balance damage over time! Not just thorn or warlock grenades either. Increase the time between damage ticks and reduce the total time of the DOT. And allow guardians health to start its recovery while being afflicted instead of restarting the recovery timer after each tick of damage.

Don't bring in the dammage referee. Why should someone be punished if they live out in the country and Cant physically get better Internet.

It adds up to too much time EVERY single time you play. Why can't we please just get them from the director at least or even better from that app. Could do this and get to "playing" the game more. Won't this add to your diminishing player base to help out matchmaking with volume increase of ready players?

1 ReplyI think destiny needs a Rogue Planet "dark zone" like the division has where anything is ok. I can go into patrol and hunt other guardians or during the end of a strike when the afk kid gets a good weapon I can kill him and take it, that would level out rngesus. Also there needs to be an indigenous species that r like strike boss tier that are neutral to guardians and I can either attack them for great loot or befriend them and trade with them.

Let's not forget that Chryptarch can give anything worth a damn no matter your level with I thought that in time leveling you would get better stuff and the shaders he is suppose to give u n stuff every time I go with I leave wanting to punching his face more times that I did on my previous visit he pisses off so much I mean holy shit worthless piece of Chryptarch give something at least once every 20 or 50 items or give me my damn shaders I'm already level 150 WTF dude

Might be fun to have different voices to use. With different dialogue. More exotic and legendary quests. Faction wars? Class battles? Make either the factions or specific classes have an event where they mistrust the others and let the battles in the wild fly. See a dead orbit warlock that opposes your new monarchy titan? Fight it out! Its cool cayde will straighten all this out after a couple weeks of event. Those crafty hunters.

1 ReplyI recently gathered a few different guns from crucible, which are all legendary versions of exotics with a very distinct red color scheme and random perks Eyasluna (Hawkmoon) In Times of Need (Universal Remote) Hothead (Dragonsbreath) I absolutely love these weapons for a lot of reasons. Big one was the Universal Remote is my favorite exotic, but besides that, I love how unique and familiar these weapons feel. I would really love to see more sets like these, consider this Imago Loop is a Y2 version of Fatebringer with a White color scheme, so how about adding a new shotgun/sniper with the white color as a Y2 Found Verdict/Praedyth's Revenge and a MG/RL for the Corrective Measure/Hezen Vengeance. This sort of thing would be amazing for people in Y2 who loved those weapons Maybe have an updated raid where those weapons dropped in place of the old raid weapons. I know that elemental primaries are trying to be avoided now, so doing this would be a good compromise for both sides, developer and player.

I'll keep this short. I have been playing Destiny since the Alfa. However I haven't played in months. I think it's ridiculous that there is still no match making for raids, there is a huge percentage of people who bought the game but didn't raid due to the lack of support. If they make match making available I think people will come back and finish the raids. I was lucky to have an awesome fireteam, others weren't. I hate how stubborn bungee are being with this. Bungee Stop leaving matchmaking to your customers and do something about it yourselves. Thanks

We can add grenade launchers for specials which in fact they are "downgraded rocket launchers" because they arc downwards and have a blast radius of a hand grenade and same for damage but stronger than throwing propulsion

Could you make year two purifier robes? Not many people would pick them over other warlock exotics, but I would enjoy having the style and the option of the exotic

Can we revisit fusion rifles and do something to increase the accuracy? Especially the Vex Mythoclast, how about better ADS accuracy for it? If not can we give it more ammo?
