Initial fan assumptions were yes. However, with Halo 5, it appears we were mistaken. The survival of the Domain postulates that only a node was destroyed, and that the node was repaired or rebuilt.
This could have major implications for the future of the franchise.

K I was major confused as it says here,"Domain was sustained and protected by Precursor architecture, which was neurophysical and therefore vulnerable to the firing of the Halo Array." So I was thinking it was destroyed I was very confused about that gameplay.
