I'd presume because ghorn will still be king of DPS( for a rpg) but since there's less power, fireteams will want to maximize potential damage output so they will lead to even greater numbers of" must have ghorn or kick"

Ok, but if other launchers do 90% of gjallarhorns DPS after the nerf as opposed to 60% before it, won't they be more viable then?

You're right, but people seek the easiest way of getting things done. So Gjally it is, even if say a Hezen Vengeance does 90% of Gjally's DPS.

I doubt that they will nerf ghorn that much Think of instead of doing 200% more damage than any other rocket launcher it will do between 125-150% People will want to maximize their damages, to those type of people they don't care if the other launchers look better now than before when compared to ghorn. They just want to make what ever boss your fighting take massive damage and bungie did stake ghorn will still be worthy of its exotic slot.
