Add Arc and Void damage to some exotic primary weapons
One of my favorite things about collecting exotics is that many of them shine in some specific contexts. Vex is powerful when Specialist is in play. MIDA and Bad Juju are great in the Abyss. Red Death heals you in the Crota encounter. Super Good Advice crushes Oracles. Etc. I think adding Arc or Void damage (Solar is already well covered) to some of the lesser used exotic primaries would make them more interesting and help them see more action. You balanced Gally to make people switch things up more, which I think is great, but I think adding burns would also help.

1 ReplyI agree. I never understood why exotic primary weapons didn't have burns on them. Exotics should be top of the line instead of being outclassed by raid weapons.

Absolutely, do the same thing with raid weapons that praetorian foil already gets, fatebringer in void & solar as well as vex mythoclast. Crota weapons too, abyss defiant in arc & void as well as oversoul edict, all rarely dropping then you get more people going back to raiding.

Primary burn weapons are supposed to be difficult to obtain. VoG hard , crota hard, too, and poe 35. If burns were put on exotic primaries , then everyone would have 3 burn weapons and these weapons wouldn't be as sought after

I would add based on first 2 raids, solar TLW, Void MIDA, (and UR, and NLB) Arc for hardlight, maybe :P I had a nice list somewhere, not my own thread, in someone elses, over a month ago I think....

Yeah that's great. NLB would be interesting with void or arch. How about if hard light had arch wow. Yeah that would be some fun stuff. Total pipe dream though. Can't even change Xúrs inventory lol

1 ReplyI think they should make a 25000 glimmer upgrade to add an element damage to a gun already in your inventory. Sure as shit would drain your finances but allow you to customize the weapons that you already have so they don't go out of purpose.

If Monte Carlo had Arc Burn, I'd definitely pull it out of my Vault and have some fun with it.
