Edited by Mr Admirals7044: 7/8/2015 10:04:53 PMMaybe. While many Grunts in the Covenant do exhibit an arthropod like exoskeleton, it is actually skin in a toughened shell-like state. They would still have a skeleton inside their bodies.

Its possible, there is text/dialogue hinting that Brutes have no problem cooking and eating other races.
