You kinda ran your points together there. Also, I feel as though you ignored what I was saying. 1) Programmers ripped the disc data and checked the files. They found the resources on the disc, bud. Its legit, the content for both DLCs was essentially already on there, just disjointed and not active. They needed to recode the programs and A.I. for the unpopulated areas. 2) The $500 million was for the initial launch and development period of the game. It is not a "10 year long" budget. Roughly $200 million of that number was put towards marketing for the game, to hype it up. That leaves $300 million leftover for development, which is still ridiculous huge, again compared to Halo 3. Also, the $60 million for Halo 3 also included marketing costs, which was around half of that. So development for Halo 3 was $30 million. 3) Joseph Staten, the "story guy", was a key member of the Bungie Team. Destiny was his masterpiece, his brainchild. We already know there was a great deal of disagreement between him and what Activision was wanting, and he refused to accept it and have his name and reputation attached to this version of Destiny we were sold. So he voluntarily left the company of his own accord. They could afford another story writer, and they did. Fact is, they decided to butcher Joseph Staten's Destiny. 4) Destiny started development for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It was a Last Gen title. A PS4 and Xbox One version was made after the fact, following a business deal between Sony and Activision to use Destiny as a flagship title for the PS4, at which point even more money was thrown at them. Day 1 Launch, Destiny sales had already generated well over the $500 million that was spent on its development and release. 5) What I know is that there are going to be additional Strikes added. A new Raid and a new location. However, there is still recycled resources from the original version being used in TTK. Example, Phobos, the moon of Mars which you can see right now on your director on the game. Its been there from the start, and closed door testing and developer interviews revealed all this stuff already. Like Saturn and Mercury which were already developed. Do I know 100% what is going to actually be in TTK? No. But neither do you. That being said, all anyone has to go off of is what we have already seen. Based on that, there is very little expectation for this expansion.
