So the people who insult Bungie, call them incompetent, money whores, sellouts, more commonly known as Bungievision, who can't make a good game with a $500 million budget, which Bungie says is untrue, by the way. The franchise budget is probably $500 million. The first game is nowhere close to that.
The ones that say that they're done with Destiny, that no one's going to play it when Fallout 4 comes out, that Destiny is dying, that the DLCs are overpriced, that it was a failure, say that because they're a fan?
...That's not a very successful way of showing it.
Firstly, Bungie doesn't control everything. Halo was an Xbox exclusive franchise because Microsoft took a bet that Halo CE would get the Xbox platform off the ground. That's business. Bungie needed money, Microsoft supplied it for exclusivity. Same thing happened here. Why you feel betrayed by this is irrelevant. Exclusivity exists. Either say that there should be no exclusivity AT ALL, or deal with it. It wasn't not Bungie's decision to go "against" their beloved Xbox crowd. It wasn't Bungie's decision to cut the game in half and sell the rest in chunks.
