It is an anime yes. It's like most other battle shounen (Bleach, DBZ, One Piece etc.) but I like it more than them. Lots of episodes. It actually doesn't have that much filler. It's worth a try definitely. Truly epic soundtrack too.

Nice. I've been rewatching dbz on hulu and was planning on watching one piece again but I might have to check this out after I finish dbz. Last question. Is it on hulu?

Um I don't think it's on Hulu. If it is then the dub isn't. The dub and sub are on Netflix up to episode 45 if you want a taste of it.

Just checked hulu. I've got 59 episodes dubbed and 200 something that are sub.
