Well I hope to get an electric for Christmas and I've played electrics in guitar class but I have 2 acoustics right now.

When Christmas comes around and I get a bit of gift money, I'm gonna put it all away for a new violin. Technically, it will be my first violin I myself will own. I'm gonna get something crafted for intermediate/professional players- real ebony fittings, a finer wood (different wood produces different smoothness of sound!), etc. Problem is, they're about $1,500.
